31st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Saturday March 17, 2012  

Big Sky Senior Services is once again teaming up with the Save Our Parade Committee to organize the 31^st  St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Celtic Street Fair.  This year we are getting back to tradition by inviting area Irish Heritage Clans to participate in the parade.  Bring your colors and your kilts and meet us for a great time in Downtown Billings.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade:  11 a.m., Saturday March 17^th. 

Parade line up begins at 9:30.  The parade follows the traditional downtown parade route, proceeding up 3^rd Avenue to 32^nd Street and then returning on 2^nd Avenue.

Celtic Street Fair:  10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday March 17 

Fair setup and street closure begins at 8:00 a.m. downtown on North Broadway (28^th) between 1^st and 3^rd Avenues.  The Street Fair features a Wal-Mart kids corner, food and miscellaneous vendors all while entertainment takes place on the stage. 

All proceeds from the parade and street fair go towards the direct support of clients of Big Sky Senior Services programs;  Senior Helping Hands, Prevention of Elder Abuse and Friends Volunteer Program.  Each program helps elders and adults with disabilities in the Billings community live safely and independently in their own homes.
